- Since its inception in 1983 Linköpings Guideklubb membership has consisted of individual company owners and private citizens whose purpose is to conduct guided tours in a credible, authorised manner in keeping with Linköping's Guideklubb's governance. The board members are democratically elected by the members themselves.
The guidelines for competency, amongst others, are that prospective guides complete a course in accordance with Sve Guides, National and International rulings and its members decisions. Authorisation is granted after completion of competence course. Retention of authorisation demands a minimum two guided tours per year or one guided tour reinforced with refresher course.
It is our mission to ensure that all guided tours meet standards that preserve Linköping's position in particular and Sweden's in general.
